Hello everyone,

My name is Ilinka and you can find me on Instagram: @ilinkabeckles_va or Twitter: @ilinkabecklesva and I currently work full time at the Vision Achievement Academy.

I hope all of our members and readers are well.

What a week it has been right? During the past week many of us have continued with our lives, working, socialising but we can never forget the Queen’s Jubilee in the previous week which was all about celebrating the 70th anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth II.

Following this I thought I would share 4 facts about her royal highness:

  1. Queen Elizabeth did not receive a formal education. She was tutored at the castle, where she studied constitutional history and law.
  2. The Queen did not send her first email until 1976 which was 46 years ago. Technology has improved so much since then, emails, social media, almost everything is accessible online just like our online courses at achievement academy.
  3. Her Majesty up to present has been served by 14 Prime Ministers such as Boris Johnson, Winston Churchill, Theresa May, Margaret Thatcher.
  4. The Queen has multiple hobbies, including pigeon racing, horse riding and has a love of football. It is important to have hobbies so that you find what you enjoy, as you never know it may some day lead to a job role that you are passionate about.

Including horse riding, pigeon racing, and football – she’s an Arsenal supporter!

From all of us at the Achievement Academy we hope you have all enjoyed being a part of history as much as we have to be able to celebrate the Queens Jubilee with friends, family, neighbours.

If anyone has any pictures from celebrations related then send them in we would love to see.

As always if you have any questions about the Academy or in regards to my blog today you can message us on our website, via social media or email [email protected], or [email protected]

Have a great weekend
